West Ham are attempting to join the race for Arsenal's player Balogun, who is among the fourteen Gunners set to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer.
Meanwhile, Milan is also interested in Arsenal's Folarin Balogun. Despite this, here are reports suggesting that Balogun might end up at West Ham, allowing Scamacca to go back to Italy. West Ham is prepared to compete with Milan for Balogun, who has scored 20 goals for Reims in Ligue 1 this season. The 21-year-old Gunner has been highly praised for his potential as a center-forward.
Last summer, the French starlet was loaned to Reims and is likely to be available for a permanent transfer at the end of the season. Balogun prefers not to go out on loan again but faces competition at Arsenal, with Gabriel Jesus as the first-choice center-forward and Eddie Nketiah as the primary backup, leaving Balogun with limited opportunities in North London.
According to reports, Arsenal is looking to sell Folarin Balogun for a fee of around £25m-£30m, while GIFN values him at around €30m. It has been suggested that his potential move to West Ham could create an opportunity for Arsenal to pursue their top target, Declan Rice.
Besides the North Londoners, Rice is also attracting interest from Manchester United, Chelsea, and Liverpool, is expected to leave West Ham this summer. The Hammers captain reportedly prefers to stay in London and wants to compete in the Champions League. Arsenal is the only club that can meet both of these criteria, although the cost of the transfer is a concern. West Ham is said to be demanding a staggering £120m, a figure that Arsenal is reportedly hesitant to pay.
This season, the Hammers have secured their Premier League status and have reached the final of the Europa Conference League. If David Moyes' side succeeds in establishing a victory over Fiorentina on June 7, they will qualify for Europa League's next campaign.
