West Ham are eyeing skilled Frenchman for attacking reinforcement

West Ham United are actively monitoring Randal Kolo Mauni as a potential target as they search for attacking reinforcements for the upcoming tournament.

According to a report from 90Min, David Moyes' side have already inquired about the 24-year-old French international's transfer valuation. Currently, there are indications that Paris Saint-Germain holds the lead in the race to secure the French player's signature.

It appears highly unlikely that West Ham will be able to outpace PSG in this pursuit. The French side boasts greater financial capabilities in comparison to the Hammers, and they can also offer the player the prospect of competing in the Champions League next season. While West Ham has qualified for the Europa League, their success across various competitions hinges on bolstering their attacking options.

The English side possesses the financial means to invest significantly in acquiring a striker, particularly following the departure of Declan Rice for a record British transfer fee. Alongside Kolo Muani, the club is also said to be monitoring Montpellier's Elye Wahi. The ultimate signing decision remains uncertain and intriguing.

The 24-year-old's outstanding performance during the past Bundesliga season, marked by 23 goals and 17 assists in all competitions, has established him as one of the league's standout players.
