The Argentinian superstar first put the Herons ahead in the 7th minute after getting the ball from Robert Taylor and netting a left-footed goal to the top right corner.
After going into half-time with 2-1, Messi put forward Miami's third goal to secure the team's victory in the 72nd minute. Assisted by Josef Martinez, the 36-year-old right-footed a precise shot from the center of the box.
Next up Inter Miami are set to face FC Dallas at Toyota Stadium on August 6. The match is going to be Messi's first-ever away match from DRV PNK Stadium, but it promises to be nothing short of epic.
