Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly leading the race to sign Habib Diarra from Strasbourg.
According to Daily Mail, Wolves are in the best position to secure the signing of the highly regarded 19-year-old French player during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Diarra has been making a strong impression in Ligue 1, making 30 appearances across all competitions this season.
As per recent reports, the young midfielder is interested in a move to Molineux. However, it's been claimed that the French outfit would demand around £20 million for his transfer.
Furthermore, the Midlands club are yet to decide whether they would be able to pay the fee 'following their current financial challenges, which could necessitate player sales.
