Tottenham Hotspur are handed massive transfer boost as a striker target officially rejects contract renewal.
Both
Gazzetta dello Sport and
Corriere dello Sport have reported that Spurs have Dušan Vlahović in their sights for a January transfer. as their interest in the player hasn't faded away since summer.
Journalist Enrico Camelio told
Calciomercato.it that Tottenham chief Fabio Paratici tried to sign the Serbian for Juventus more than a year ago, but the Turin club were not interested in this idea.
It’s said Paratici now wants to complete Vlahović’s signing with the Lilywhites.
“The team that is on Vlahovic now, not surprisingly, is Tottenham. They are talking to the player’s entourage and not to Fiorentina. The economic agreement was also probably found,” Camelio said.
It's claimed that Nuno Espirito Santo's side have the player ‘in their sights’ because he is considered a ‘perfect post-Kane’ player.
The 21-year-old has decided not to renew his contract with Fiorentina, which expires in 2023.
