Tottenham Hotspur are making a last-minute move for Trevoh Chalobah from Chelsea.
As per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, a deal is unlikely to materialize due to a few reasons. Firstly, the Spurs are a London club, which makes them direct rivals to the Blues. Other reasons involve the formula of the deal, and the lack of green light on Chelsea's side.
On deadline day, Chelsea homegrown talent Callum Hudson-Odoi's departure was announced. The young Englishman has spent 16 years with the club and has made a permanent move to Nottingham Forest.
Chelsea have lost to almost 20 players this season, which has helped the team cut down on bloated squad and also give space for other underplayed players to improve their performance.
