Tottenham legend Glenn Hoddle believes Jose Mourinho needs to keep Tanguy Ndombele at the club this summer, despite speculation linking him with a move away from North London. Ndombele has been heavily linked with a move away from Tottenham in the upcoming transfer window.
The French midfielder joined the club last summer and become all-time record signing, having cost £65million. However, he has failed to impress in his debut season in the Premier League.
Hoddle believes the 22-year-old is still a good player. Speaking to Premier League Productions, he claimed the Frenchman would be "sensational" at another club if he left.
Hoddle said: "
Ndombele I think there's a player in there, he's [Mourinho] got to find that. Whether he's gone too far with that lad and they won't get him back as a player, I don't know. But I truly believe there's a player in there waiting to come out. If he moved on i think he would be sensational somewhere."
