Tottenham are making efforts to persuade Harry Kane to remain at the club by offering him a post-retirement job.
The London-based club are determined to retain their influential top goalscorer. The Spurs captain achieved a tally of 30 goals in the previous Premier League season, only falling behind Manchester City goalscoring machine Erling Haaland.
According to The Mail, Kane would receive a weekly salary of £400,000 if he chooses to stay with Spurs for the next few years. It is anticipated that the 29-year-old would be offered a contract lasting four or five years, surpassing any other club's potential offer.
Even the clubs that are keen to land the Englishman, like Bayern Munich or Manchester United would be reluctant to match the salary being proposed by the Spurs. Additionally, the club are prepared to guarantee the England captain an ambassadorial position after he concludes his playing career.
It has been previously reported that Thomas Tuchel has met with Kane in his house in London to convince him to move to Bayern Munich. The Bundesliga giants are currently the frontrunners to land the striker, if he decides to leave Tottenham.
