There are growing speculations about Arsenal talent Eddie Nketiah's departure from the club in the summer transfer window.
The England international has been in competition with Gabriel Jesus for a spot in Mikel Arteta's team this season. In the 2023/24 season, Nketiah has scored five goals in a total of 24 appearances in the Premier League.
Mikel Arteta's side, on the other hand, have set sights on Brentford's Ivan Toney and if a deal to bring the talented striker comes to success, Nketiah's place in the squad can be contemplated. Yet, Arsenal's acquisition of Toney is still unlikely.
The 24-year-old is valued at £40million as per Football Insider, and the club will look to sell him only after buying a replacement. The London-born striker's deal at the Emirates Stadium runs through 2027.
Crsytal Palace were considered to be the frontrunners to sign the England international for a considerable time, however, it seems, they are out of the race at the moment.
Below are the top three clubs who are interested in signing Nketiah from Arsenal.
Fulham
Fulham are among the top three sides who could sign Nketiah this summer. The Cottagers are currently in talks with their London rivals over a possible deal for the 25-year-old.
The England international is at a place in his career when he needs to play regularly, but staying at Arsenal might not allow him to do that. Instead, the Gunners are targeting Benjamin Sesko.
West Ham
West Ham have repeatedly attempted to secure a consistent striker as their long-term number nine. The team have previously chosen notable continental players like Sebastien Haller and Gianluca Scamacca, but both were swiftly shown the exit after unimpressive forms.
Considering their limited options upfront, West Ham should actively seek a forward who would thrive playing alongside talents such as Bowen, Mohammed Kudus, and Lucas Paqueta. One of their options is Nketiah.
Brentford
Brentford are also reportedly keeping their tabs open on Nketiah. The Bees are likely to seek a new center-forward, considering Ivan Toney's circumstances and Bryan Mbeumo's recent injury setback.
Although the prospect of a swap deal involving Toney and Nketiah seems improbable, Brentford may still explore the possibility of acquiring the Arsenal player.
