In 2017 Barcelona star Neymar joined Paris Saint-Germain and has become the most expensive player of all time, as the Ligue 1 side paid for him £198m.
In the summer of 2019, Leicester City defender Harry Maguire joined Manchester United for an £80m fee to become the most expensive defender.
Kepa Arrizabalaga joined Chelsea from Athletic Bilbao and he is now the most expensive goalkeeper in the world as the Blues paid £71.6m for him.
The most expensive signing of the Premier League history is Paul Pogba, who joined United from Juventus for an £89m.
When we told these signings would happen a decade ago, almost all fans would have been surprised.
