Armenia national team star Henrikh Mkhitaryan revealed on Thursday that he is retiring from the national team. The 33-year-old took to Twitter and shared a message to the fans.

The versatile midfielder has played for many clubs starting from his home country club Pyunik to Metalurh Donetsk, Shakhtar Donetsk and later Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United and Arsenal. He currently plays for Serie A side AS Roma where he is under contract until the end of this season.
