Three Premier League clubs that could sign Victor Osimhen after player's fallout with Napoli

Victor Osimhen, who played a pivotal role in Napoli's first Serie A title win in 30 years last season, is now at the center of a controversy that has put several Premier League clubs on alert.

The Nigerian player is considering legal action against his current club Napoli following a social media incident in which he was mocked for missing a penalty. The TikTok video, which featured a sped-up voiceover ridiculing the attacker, has since been removed, but the fallout from the incident has cast doubt on the player's future in Naples.

Osimhen's contract with Napoli runs until 2025, but negotiations for a new deal have stalled. This situation has opened the door for a number of Premier League clubs to express their interest in the talented 24-year-old striker.

Here are three Premier League clubs that could potentially secure Victor Osimhen's signature in the near future:

Chelsea are been closely monitoring the situation surrounding Osimhen. Manager Mauricio Pochettino has been vocal about his desire to sign a new striker in January, and the club's interest in Osimhen could intensify following the recent discord with Napoli.

The Blues are also keeping an eye on Ivan Toney of Brentford, but Osimhen's proven track record could make him an appealing option to bolster their attacking force.

Arsenal are another Premier League club that could enter the race for Victor Osimhen. The Gunners have been in search of a reliable striker option, and Osimhen's availability might align with their transfer goals.

With Ivan Toney also on their radar, Mikel Arteta's side have the opportunity to add firepower to their squad in the upcoming transfer windows.

Manchester United

Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano previously hinted at Manchester United's interest in Victor Osimhen, but the signing of Rasmus Hojlund in the summer seemed to have put that move on hold.

However, recent news of a potential takeover bid for Manchester United by British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe has reignited the speculation. A change in ownership could provide the financial impetus needed to pursue Osimhen.
