Thiago Alcantara snubs Bayern Munich contract offer as confident of Liverpool transfer

Thiago Alcantara has reportedly snubbed Bayern Munich contract offer as he is confident of moving to Liverpool. The 29-year-old  has just one year left on his current deal in Bundesliga. He has allegedly put his house up for sale in Munich, suggesting he is getting ready to leave Germany  in the summer transfer window. Jurgen Klopp's side have been heavily linked with a move for the midfielder and Thiago appears equally as keen on the move, although is yet to open a line of discussion with the Merseyside club. According to B/R's "Football Ranks" podcast, Thiago is expected to leave, and is 'very sure' he will join Liverpool. However, whether he gets his dream move to Anfield remains to be seen, despite the Reds being his first choice. Bayern Munich want around £35million for the Spanish midfielder. The Reds, on the other hand, have felt the full effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, and are only willing to pay £18m to get the transfer over the line. Source- Mirror
