Glenn Hoddle believes that Alisson Becker was the standout performer for Liverpool in their 3-1 victory over Bournemouth at Anfield.
Despite Liverpool's 9-0 win over Bournemouth last season, this recent fixture presented a different and more challenging scenario for Jurgen Klopp's team.
The Reds found themselves trailing 1-0 within five minutes, and in reality, the away team started the game with a much more aggressive approach. However, as they settled into the game and gained momentum, Hoddle noted that Alisson Becker made some crucial and impressive saves for his team, which he described as "very, very good."
"Alisson made some very good saves," Hoddle told Premier League Productions.
“After the first minutes, when they messed up at the back. He was probably their best player. He made some very, very important saves.”
