Rangers are likely to face UEFA sanctions after bottle was thrown at Bayern Leverkusen players.
The Gers defeat 3-1 to Bayern Leverkusen in their last-16 first-leg game.
As the German team celebrated Leon Bailey’s 88th-minute goal, a glass bottle was thrown from a section housing Rangers supporters in the direction of the players.
French forward Moussa Diaby picked up the bottle after the event.
According to The Scotsman
, the bottle incident is unlikely to be glossed over by UEFA delegates and, given previous behaviour, Rangers will likely be braced for a hefty punishment.
