Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe has praised Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson's remarkable save from Miguel Almiron's shot as the best he's ever witnessed.
Despite being down a goal and a man for most of the game, Liverpool managed to win the game with a score of 2 - 1 due to Darwin Nunez's double. However, Alisson's exceptional save in the 36th minute of the match has been another factor to help the team avoid defeat.
Newcastle's Miguel Almirón executed a powerful volley with his favored left foot, but Alisson made an incredible stop, deflecting the goal-bound shot onto the crossbar.
In his post-game remarks, Howe expressed his admiration for the goalkeeper's performance, via LFC Transfer Room: “Alisson’s save, for Almiron's shot, was the best I’ve ever seen in my life.”
