The Rugby World Cup is currently underway and is a major topic in the sports world. Interestingly, even in football-related discussions and interviews, a few rugby-related questions are starting to surface.
Recently, Trent Alexander-Arnold was questioned about rugby during an appearance on Premier League Productions.
The defender was asked to identify the Liverpool teammate he believes would excel as a rugby player, and he pointed to Ibrahima Konate as the player within the squad whom he thinks possesses the qualities to transition to rugby.
Alexander-Arnold shared his thoughts on the £35 million-valued player, via TBR Football, saying:
“Who out of your teammates would make a good rugby player? I would say Ibou, he’s big and strong and fast, that’s what you need.”
