A supercomputer from Ladbrokes predicted the next season's Premier League Top 10 clubs. Although it is anticipated that some teams will improve their positions in the table, the whole image will not be too different from the current season, especially in terms of the Top 4.
Winner
Manchester City are expected to win again next season and lift their sixth Premier League trophy in the past seven years and the second one under Guardiola’s management.
Runners up
After this season’s late decline, Arsenal are estimated to again make the top four and contest for the title in from second to fourth positions.
Liverpool is also set to secure their spot in the Top 4 and compete in the Champions League next season. This season, Jurgen Klopp’s side started to excel in their performance towards the end of the season and will finish in the fifth spot with 66 points.
Manchester United will close the door behind them in the Top Four standings. The team is anticipated to finish in the 4th spot, just like this season.
Five to Ten
Then, according to the supercomputer, Chelsea will finish at the fifth spot. Despite the new owner's desire to land high-priced players, this season has been symbolic for the Blues to prove that even a $600 million spending on new signings does not guarantee you a successful season.
The English clubs which will occupy fifth to tenth Premier League positions are Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur, Brighton, Aston Villa and Brentford, respectively.
This season Newcastle United has had a phenomenal campaign under Eddie Howe, who succeeded in leading the club into the UEFA Champions League for the first time since 2003.
