"Super keen": Fabrizio Romano says player desires to join Manchester United despite Arsenal interest

Rasmus Hojlund dreams of joining Manchester United, according to the sports journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The Red Devils have been active in the transfer window, and Erik ten Hag could further improve United's squad by signing Hojlund, who reportedly desires a move to Old Trafford, as per Romano's comments toGiveMeSport.

Arsenal was also interested in the Danish striker, and there were talks with Atalanta and Hojlund's agents about a potential move. However, the Gunners' pursuit seems to have quieted down as they shifted their focus to signing Declan Rice, which they achieved recently.

As a result, Manchester United have emerged as the frontrunner for Hojlund's signature. What strengthens the possibility of a move to Old Trafford is Hojlund's admiration for the club.

“We know the player is, I always say this, super, super keen on the move. He would love to play for Manchester United. He’s been a Manchester United fan since he was a baby, so it’s a big opportunity for him to go to Man United now," Romano said, via TBR Football

Atalanta have set a price tag of around £55 million for the striker, and it remains to be seen if Manchester United will make the move to fulfill the young player's dream.
