Steven Gerrard has spoken out on Leeds United and their new manager Jesse Marsch as Aston Villa prepare to face Leeds at Elland Road following their 4-0 victory over Southampton during the weekend. While Villa celebrated a victory, the Whites suffered a 1-0 defeat to Leicester City under their new coach. Marsch was appointed as Leeds manager on February 28 following the departure of Marcelo Bielsa. “Every manager is after consistency,” Gerrard told BBC Sport. “We have put in some good performances. Two clean sheets. The mood in the dressing room is really good. “But you have to reset. Leeds away. They are going to get that new manager bounce. “They were really improved. I watched the game against Leicester. And I am sure Elland Road is going to be behind them, so we have to be ready and prepare for that.”
