Steven Gerrard gives his opinion on Jurgen Klopp’s FUTURE at Liverpool
Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard doesn’t think Jurgen Klopp will stay at Liverpool as much as Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United. Rangers head coach, who is supposed to replace the German after the latest leaves Liverpool, has given his opinion on Klopp’s future at the Merseyside club. "I think Fergie (Sir Alex Ferguson) knew that he could see the creaking signs and it would need another cycle comes back round," Gerrard said (via Mirror)"As we are seeing now, it might be a longer job than people thought."I don't think Jurgen would do that at Liverpool."I think he will already know now when he is going to go." he added. Jurgen Klopp and Steven Gerrard have extended their contracts with Liverpool and Rangers until 2024. It is interesting that both extensions have been signed on the same day, as media suggests Reds are preparing for life after Klopp. 52-year-old German has won the Champions League title, UEFA Supercup and Club World Cup title and is now leading in the Premier League with 13 point advantage over second-placed Leicester City after 20 matches. Gerrard has also admitted that it would be harder for him to work at Liverpool, if Klopp wins the PL title. He added: "It would be harder. I had a conversation with Jurgen when he took the job and he thought he could sort the problems out."If I took over now from Jurgen, it would be a tougher job than if I replaced Brendan Rodgers or Roy Hodgson."I would probably have a better chance of winning, though."
