Staggering amount of money Manchester United earned from PSG win

Manchester United will pocket a whopping €10.5million after pulling off one of the greatest Champions League comebacks of all time. The Red Devils overcome all the odds to progress to the quarterfinals of the Champions League with win over Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday. The win against PSG has bagged the Red Devils a staggering €10.5million - €1million more than they earned for reaching the last-16. Manchester United are yet to discover their quarter-final opponents, but should they progress to the semis they will make an additional €12million. A place in the final sees a team earn €15million, while the winners make an additional €4million. UEFA confirmed last summer that clubs would earn lump sums of cash for progression through the knockout stages of the Champions League.
