Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge has urged Antonio Conte to start Ryan Sessegnon in the upcoming match against Burnely.
Sessegnon has found his playing time limited at the North London club this season. He hasn't started consecutive games since January 2020.
Bridge believes that Conte should give the 21-year-old a chance to show his skills tonight ahead of Matt Doherty if the club's main wing-back, Sergio Reguilon, is out of action.
“My hope for Sessegnon is, he has a few games and gets a good run," he told
GIVEMESPORT.
"If Reguilon is out Wednesday, just keep playing him. Doherty is not a left wing-back, Doherty playing left wing-back, you might as well go home, it’s a waste of time.”
The Spurs are set to face the Premier League rivals on Wednesday evening. They will be hoping to have another successful result following the 3 - 2 win over Manchester City last weekend.
