Seven Newcastle United players to miss Premier League game against Arsenal

Arsenal have received boost ahead of their upcoming Premier League fixture agaiinst Newcastle United that will take place on November 4, 2023.

Newcastle United will be without Alexander Isak and Sven Botman for their upcoming match against Arsenal as their list of injured players continues to grow.

Before their League Cup fixture against Manchester United, manager Eddie Howe provided updates on the fitness of his squad, confirming that Isak won't be available for the Arsenal game and they are targeting his return "after the international break."

Sven Botman has also been ruled out due to an unspecified issue, and the club is actively working to diagnose the injury properly. There's a possibility that Botman's injury falls into the long-term category, but they are awaiting further clarity.

Newcastle are dealing with several other injury problems, including Harvey Barnes, who has a foot injury, Jacob Murphy, likely requiring shoulder surgery, and Elliot Anderson, who is struggling with a lower back stress fracture. None of these three players are expected to return before the end of 2023.

Young player Lewis Miley is currently sidelined due to illness, as he has been diagnosed with glandular fever. He will undergo four weeks of lower physical activity before gradually building back up.

Additionally, Sandro Tonali will miss the Arsenal match due to a suspension related to his illegal betting activities in Italy, resulting in a 10-month ban from football.
