Tottenham midfielder Ryan Sessegnon has revealed that his injury was the most difficult thing when joining Spurs this summer.
The 19-year-old has made his second appearance for Spurs in Wednesday’s 4-0 win over Red Star Belgrade and impressed with laying on an assist for Christian Eriksen.
Speaking to Tottenham’s official website, Sessegnon said:
“It’s good to be back. It wasn’t easy coming to the Club injured and I’ve had to work hard to get to where I am now but credit to the medical staff, they’ve brought me back and now I’m raring to go. Every opportunity I get, I want to take. I’m grateful to the manager and to the players who have all welcomed me to the Club. I just want to keep repaying them with good performances.”
Sessegnon joined Tottenham this summer from Fulham for €27 million and since then has made 2 appearances and 1 assist.
