Brazil will meet Senegal and Nigeria in international friendlies in Singapore next month as the five-time world champions prepare for the South American Zone’s 2022 World Cup qualifiers, Brazilian football federation confirmed.
That means Liverpool’s Firmino and Fabinho could come up against team-mate Sadio Mane in Asia. While goalkeeper Alisson will miss out on the encounter with the player not set to return to action until after the international break.
Brazil will meet Senegal for the first time in their history at Singapore’s National Stadium on October 13 and Nigeria three days later.
Senegal are currently 20th in FIFA ranking, while Nigeria are 33nd.
