Roman Abramovich could reportedly use his relationship with Robert Lewandowski's agent Plini Zahavi in order to sign the striker for Chelsea.
The Blues are now in desperate need of a striker with Lewandowski, Erling Haaland and Romelu Lukaku linked.
According to
BILD, Chelsea are considering making a move for the Bayern Munich striker in a potential £50million deal after failing to persuade Borussia Dortmund to sell Haaland.
However, Bayern are reportedly hoping to extend Lewandowski’s contract — which does not expire until 2023.
The outlet claim though, that the striker's agent Zahavi is quite close with Abramovich, as he was involved in the billionaire's acquisition of Chelsea in 2003.
So there is a possibility of the Blues making the transfer for the Poland international, who scored stunning 40 goals in his 48 games for Bayern last season.
