Arsenal have reportedly entered the race to sign Joao Cancelo from Manchester City in the summer.
The Portuguese defender's future at the club appears uncertain, with reports suggesting that he has fallen out of favor with manager Pep Guardiola.
As a result, the full-back was loaned out to Bayern Munich for the second half of the season in a bid to get more playing time.
Despite having the option to purchase the 28-year-old for £70m, the Bundesliga outfit have publicly declared the fee to be excessive.
However, according to 90min, the German giants are not the only club eager to permanently sign the right-back as he also caught the attention of Barcelona and Arsenal.
The Gunners are reportedly interested in bringing Cancelo to the Emirates as part of their summer rebuild. Mikel Arteta has prior experience coaching Cancelo during his time as an assistant manager at Etihad.
