Arsenal player Reiss Nelson has already expressed his admiration for Arne Slot who is reportedly targeted by Tottenham for a potential move.
Previously, there were reports linking Julian Nagelsmann to the Spurs job, but now the club have shifted their focus to Slot. According to journalist Miguel Delaney, Slot is now the leading contender for the Spurs managerial job.
The 44-year-old has made a positive impact on the team during his time with Feyenoord, winning the Eredivisie title and even garnering praise from Reiss Nelson last season.
The Gunners' man was loaned out to Feyenoord from Arsenal and had the opportunity to play under Arne Slot's management. In a recent episode of the Colney Carpool podcast, the attacker praised Slot, saying, as quoted by The Athletic:
“Arne Slot is a great manager. He really got me into my rhythm.. He gave me a lot of opportunities to play and I excelled.”
