RB Leipzig have given treble winners Manchester City the deadline to finalize the deal for Josko Gvardiol.

To secure the star player's transfer from Leipzig, a world record fee for a defender is likely to be necessary. According to information from the Manchester Evening News, this fee must be paid no later than August 12.
In essence, Manchester City's management has just over two weeks to finalize all aspects of the deal and ensure the player's successful signing and transfer.
As per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano the clubs are in the final stage of negotiations. Pep Guardiola's side is keen to complete the deal although the medicals for Gvardiol was postponed.
