RB Leipzig chief Oliver Mintzlaff is confident they won’t lose Timo Werner.
"As of today, he is not for sale. We hope that we qualify for the Champions League. Timo can also take the next step with us,” said Mintzlaff.
"Clearly we showed why RB Leipzig is the right club for him."
He added: "We believe that with Julian (Nagelsmann) Timo can still make some progress."
Werner, himself, is plotting a future move to Bayern Munich.
“I’ve had a nice two and a half years at Leipzig, so they are in the picture [for next season],” he told Sky Sports Germany.
“There are other clubs in the picture. If you play in Germany and want to stay in Germany, there is only one club in question.”
RB Leipzig star has also been linked with a move to Liverpool.
