Rangers players and the coaching staff will take 50 % wage cuts amid the coronavirus pandemic, so that the non-playing staff of the club could also be paid, The Daily Record reports.
The majority of the squad has reportedly agreed to temporary wage cuts, as talks have been held for the past days.
Club’s spokesman told the media outlet: “Rangers can confirm that first team players, manager coaches and executive directors have volunteered to take a salary deferral for the next three months.”
Players and coaching staff will be repaid by the time the football restarts and matches are played.
