Ralf Rangnick provides update on Edinson Cavani ahead of Atletico Madrid clash

Manchester United will face Atletico Madrid in the Champions League last-16 first-leg game on Wednesday, February 23 at Wanda Metropolitano. Ahead of the game, United interim manager Ralf Rangnick has provided an injury update on Edinson Cavani. Cavani has been out with groin problem. During this season, Cavani has so far made just 15 appearances in which he has scored two goals and provided one assist. Speaking during a press conference, Rangnick said: "Edi will not make the trip, he didn't train and he has not been training for the last couple of weeks. He will not be part of the group. He has problems with his groin. As long as he doesn't feel able to fully sprint it doesn't make sense to push him."
