Roy Keane has shared his praise for five Argentina players following the national team's game with Mexico.
Argentina celebrated a 2 - 0 win over their rivals in the second game of the World Cup group stage. Lionel Messi and Enzo Fernandes scored the winning goals to secure three points for their team.
Keane was impressed by five footballers, including the goalscorer Fernandez, Julian Alvarez, Exequiel Palacios, Nahuel Molina, and Tottenham star Christian Romero.
“We go back to the importance of players off the bench,” Keane told told ITV Sport, via HITC.
“We have seen the last few days some players come on and make no difference. “The subs today came on, brought a bit of energy, quality and gave them that momentum. After they got that first goal, they were never losing that game.”
