Chelsea have reportedly targetting Newcastle United star Bruno Guimaraes for potntional winter transfer window.
The London giants are eager to strengthen their midfield line with Jude Bellingham, Declan Rice, Moises Caicedo and Weston McKennie being on the shortlist alongside Newcastle's £40m ace.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the journalist Simon Phillips has provided an update on Graham Potter's target list as Jorginho and N’Golo Kante are yet to reach an agreement with the club over contract renewals with the pair being out of contract next summer.
“I've been told at the moment, Chelsea are looking at Edson Alvarez from Ajax, Moises Caicedo from Brighton, Weston McKennie from Juventus, and Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle.
"The latter seems ambitious. Chelsea have a shortlist of midfielders they are looking at for a priority area in January, and again in the summer.
"Declan Rice is more possible come the summer rather than in January, same goes for Jude Bellingham, but I think he goes to either Liverpool or Real Madrid.” stated Phillips.
However, Guimaraes making a Stamford Bridge move in winter is beyond unlikely as the player is keen to sign a new deal with Eddie Howe's side which includes a salary increase as part of the negotiation.
