West Ham United have started talks with Juventus for Filip Kostic.
The winger is up for grabs from the Serie A side, despite his arrival just a year ago from Eintracht Frankfurt. Ever since his arrival in Italy, Kostic faced challenges in securing regular playing time in the previous season, leading to his availability for a fee of £25 million.
According to the London Evening Standard, West Ham, who lost out to Juventus in the race to acquire him from Eintracht Frankfurt previously, are making renewed efforts today. Kostic, who is yet to make an appearance in Serie A this season, is under contract with Juventus for the next three years.
The 30-year-old Serbia international is seen as the leading target by David Moyes' side to add to their squad before the end of the summer transfer window, which is tomorrow. Another candidate that the Hammers consider is Hugo Ekitike from PSG.
