Mauricio Pochettino, the leading candidate for Chelsea's next permanent head coach, already knows what he wants to do once he moves to Stamford Bridge.
The 51-year-old Argentine is keen to hold talks with Romelu Lukaku at the end of the season to make a decision on the Belgian international's future at the club. On June 29th, 2022, Chelsea announced that the 29-year-old striker would be loaned back to Inter Milan for the entire duration of the 2022-2023 football season.
As for Pochettino's future at the club, Tribal Football informs that betting has now been suspended on Chelsea's next manager, with the Argentine set to be confirmed.
The Telegraph reported that the club is already planning talks with the striker jointly with their targeted manager. The meeting will discuss the available options for the player, and it appears that the possibility of him returning to play for Chelsea has not been completely dismissed at this point.
