Manchester City prepare to face Leeds United on Saturday, May 6, 2023.
Ahead of the game, Pep Guardiola was quizzed on Kalvin Phillips, who joined City during the summer transfer window from Leeds.
Phillips' first season with City was interrupted due to a shoulder injury, however, he has now recovered and made his return. However, after returning from the injury, the 27-year-old has not gotten much playing time.
In the last three game, Phillips was left on bench against Arsenal and Fulham and played only a minute against West Ham.
"I'm pretty sure, always ready. Every player is read. Again, doctors, physios, sports science do an incredible job this season to keep players fit and we arrive at the end of the season to have almost all the players ready," said Guardiola.
"Everyone has to be ready. Everyone will be important whether it's lots of minutes or a few minutes."
