Pep Guardiola has spoken out on the importance of Manchester City's clash with Arsenal in the Premier League as the title race continues.
City host the Gunners in the league on Wednesday, April 26. Mikel Arteta's side currently lead the league table with 75 points, meanwhile, Guardiola's side are second with 70 points and two games in hand.
"It's really important. Not decisive. A lot of tough games for both sides but we can't deny how important it is," said Guardiola during a press conference.
"Everything. When you play against these type of teams they control everything. Arsenal, back when Arsene Wenger was watching, always have incredible details and care with the ball, the players they select to play are of the biggest qualities and skills and I think Mikel bring a different dimension. They are so aggressive, they can go to Anfield against the team who has been the best in transitions in recent years and they were better.
"In the two games we played this season we felt it and you have to challenge them on those terms. The quality they have in the build-up, on the second balls, it's difficult."
