Pep Guardiola sends Declan Rice message ahead of Community Shield

Pep Guardiola has shared his opinion on Declan Rice joining Arsenal. The Gunners signed Rice from West Ham during this summer transfer window.

Manchester City prepare to face Arsenal in Community Shield on August 6, 2023. City won treble as they became Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup champions, meanwhile, Mikel Arteta's side finished second in the league table.

Speaking during press conference,Guardiola said: "Rice decided on arsenal. All the best. He's an important player, a very nice guy and for England will be important. For Arsenal, what an incredible player."

City were also linked with a move for Declan Rice, however, Arsenal were the team that he eventually joined.
