Pep Guardiola has provided a positive injury update on Erling Haaland following Manchester City's game with Liverpool.
The Norway international had to miss the Citizens' 4 - 1 victory over the Reds due to fitness issues.
After the successful match, Guardiola told the media that Haaland could be expected to come back to action for the club's upcoming two meetings with Southampton and Bayern Munich.
"He is getting better. He felt a little better yesterday than the previous two days," Guardiola said on Manchester City's official website.
"Hopefully this week he will have time to be ready for Southampton and Bayern and he can help us in the way he has done all season," he added.
