Pep Guardiola has outlined his next objective for Manchester City should they secure the Treble this season.
The Citizens have already clinched their fifth Premier League title in six seasons, recording 12 consecutive victories towards the end of the season. Meanwhile, Arsenal faltered under the pressure of the title race and dropped points.
After concluding the league season, City will face Manchester United in the FA Cup Final and then Inter Milan in the Champions League final, both occurring on consecutive weekends. If celebrating victories in both of them, City would parallel United's historic achievement in 1999 and solidify their position as one of the greatest teams in English football history, if not European football history.
Being asked about his team's next important target after Treble's accomplishment, Guardiola replied: "To score a goal against Spurs away ... I want to beat Spurs away!"
Despite Tottenham's recent struggles and City's dominance, it is noteworthy that Spurs have a commendable record against the reigning champions, winning five out of their last seven league meetings.
