Paul Merson has backed Manchester United to beat Everton in the upcoming Premier League clash that will take place on Saturday, April 2, 2023.
Marcus Rashford's goal secured the Red Devils' victory over Brentford in midweek, and now Erik ten Hag's side will be looking to have another successful game amid their hopes for a top-four finish.
The Toffees, meanwhile, have been unbeaten in the latest four matches, recording one win and three draws. Sean Dyche's side are trying their best to avoid sitting in 16th place in the league table.
"Manchester United are a hard team to beat. Casemiro and Eriksen are big misses - they are the players that you don't want missing from your team. United haven't been playing very well, but they were impressive yesterday against Brentford. Marcus Rashford went three or four games without finding the back of the net, but he's now back to scoring goals," Merson said on Sportskeeda.
"Sean Dyche has made Everton a hard team to get past, and they will pick up points here and there. They're not out of trouble just yet. I don't see them winning three or four games on the trot in the Premier League.
"Everton have stepped up this month, but I've got to go with Man United this weekend. A win here should cement their place in the Premier League top four."
