Paul Merson has given his prediction for the upcoming match between Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton on April 8, 2023.
The North London outfit are heading to the meeting following the 1 - 1 draw against Everton on Monday, meanwhile, Albion celebrated a confident 0 - 2 victory over Bournemouth in the midweek.
Therefore, Spurs are currently standing fifth in the Premier League table 12 points behind the leader Arsenal and three points behind the fourth-placed Manchester United.
Roberto De Zerbi's side, however, is sitting sixth in the league following their impressive performances this season.
Writing on Sportskeeda, the pundit predicted the result of the match, claiming the meeting will end in Tottenham's victory.
The clash is set to take place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, 2 pm UK time.
"Brighton get their shots on target, but they concede goals as well. They managed 31 shots on target against Brentford only to score three goals and concede three goals as well. I don't see how Brighton can live with Harry Kane.
"Tottenham Hotspur need to win this game. Otherwise, they're completely and utterly out of the top-four race. Tottenham handle pressure a lot better than Brighton, and I think they'll win this game."
