Paul Merson has given his prediction for the upcoming match between Everton and Tottenham on April 3, 2023.
Both sides are heading to the meeting after playing draws against Chelsea and Southampton in the Premier League's previous matchday.
Spurs are set to play their first match following manager Antonio Conte's sacking with Cristian Stellini taking the role of head coach until the end of the current season.
Ahead of the clash, the North London outfit are standing fourth in the domestic table, while, the Toffees sit at 15th, two points above the relegation zone.
Writing on Sportskeeda, the pundit predicted the result of the match, claiming the meeting will end in Tottenham's victory.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at Goodison Park Stadium on Monday, 7 pm UK time.
"The one thing I don't get about Antonio Conte's sacking is that his number two is in charge. I don't understand that at all. This is a hard game, and you'll know if the players are behind their manager this weekend. It's going to be a battle on Monday night - Everton will make it one."
"If Tottenham can win this game, you'd hope that they can follow it up. I think they need to win their next three matches to make it to the top four. This is a big game for the players at the club.
