Paul Merson states his prediction for Arsenal vs Brighton

Paul Merson has given his prediction for the upcoming clash between Arsenal and Brighton. 

The Gunners are currently sitting in 2nd place in the Premier League table, one point behind the leaders Manchester City. The Seagulls, meanwhile, are in 7th place with 55 points. 

Mikel Arteta's side will be heading to Sunday's game in hopes of a win as they continue their run for the Premier League title. And Merson backs them to do so when they host Brighton at the weekend. 

"As I said about Aston Villa, Brighton looked like they were going to do something special once they got near the Champions League positions. They went on a very good run and then the pressure came on and they started losing matches," the pundit said on Sportkeeda. 

"Arsenal turned in an outstanding performance against the Magpies. I think they’re going to win all their games from here on in but they are unlikely to still win the league," he added.
