The former English professional Michael Owen revealed his constructive thoughts on making Manchester United a worthy club for Premier League 2024 title. Owen feels that a new center-forward could be the cherry on top for the club.
The 43-year-old said that he is still not convinced that Erik ten Hag’s team can challenge clubs like Arsenal and Manchester City. However, he acknowledged that the Red Devils are currently doing very well by “tearing teams apart and winning easily.”
“I think there’s a buzz about the club at the moment that they need, that every club needs,” yet the squad will need to go under reconstruction to match the level of their rivals.
Despite his bold prediction for next season, the retired sportsperson gave credit to Erik ten Hag for keeping the club fit in accordance with his managerial duties.
Manchester United are currently sitting in third place in the Premier League this season, trailing Arsenal by a significant margin of 15 points.
