Stan Collymore believes that Christian Pulisic and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang would have the chance to return to the pitch under Frank Lampard.
Chelsea have officially confirmed the appointment of the Englishman as the caretaker manager until the end of the season following the sacking of Graham Potter.
The pundit claims that a number of players with unclear futures will have the opportunity to prove themselves in Lampard's pecking order in order to secure possible summer transfers out of London.
Both of the attackers have been left on the bench by Potter, making a total of eleven Premier League starts together.
However, the former Aston Villa and Liverpool forward asserts that the manager's return might 'open the door' for the pair to reclaim their place in the first team.
“Christian Pulisic and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are two others who are facing uncertain futures."
“I don’t think Pulisic has pulled up any trees since he moved from Borussia Dortmund and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will continue to be perceived as the bag egg but I am sure Lampard will open the door to anyone who can do a job between now and the end of the season so it’s very possible that both come back into the picture." stated Collymore quoted by Caughtoffside.
