Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants Manchester United board to fund move for £35m winger

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen on signing £35m-rated Burnley midfielder Dwight McNeil. The winger, who broke into the Clarets’ first-team last season, came through Manchester United’s academy but was released at the age of 14. By his own admission, he did not meet the ‘quality’ necessary to make it at the Theatre of Dreams. The teenager has fought back to establish himself as a Premier League player and Solskjaer admires his creativity and work-rate. United are keen on re-signing McNeil but Burnley want an exorbitant £35m fee for the midfielder, according to The Sun.
