What Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told Manchester United squad before first pre-season clash

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told his Manchester United squad to appreciate the club after an open air session in Perth last Thursday. The Red Devils’ 2-0 win against Perth Glory was watched in front of 50.000 supporters. Solskjaer told his players not to take the level of support for granted and to ‘appreciate’ the stature of the club in their efforts this season, which begins with a clash against Chelsea at Old Trafford on August 11th. United end the Australian leg of their tour with a game against Leeds United at the Optus Stadium in Perth on Wednesday night. Solskjaer's side have not taken on Leeds in a competitive match since their League Cup third round win in 2011 and their last Premier League meeting was in February 2004.
